At ARBA Conventions they have team contests in the Breed ID and Judging contests.
On each team there are 4-6 team members. There are 4 competing members and up to 2 alternates. The team can be made up of a combination of these 6 team members. The 4 competing members must be determined at check-in for team competitions.
In judging, each state is only allowed to enter 1 team per age group. In Breed ID, you can have multiple teams per age group from a state. There are 3 differnt age groups; Junior (ages 11 and under), Intermediate (ages 12-14), and Senior (ages 15-18). The youth's age for competition will be determinded by the age of the yout on the last day of the convention they are attanding.
All youth participating on a team must be a current ARBA member when the team is entered into competition. |
